This is a statue of Ken Masters (ケン) that is part of our Battle of the Brothers diorama, which
includes Ryu, Gouken and Gouki (Akuma). This dynamic detailed diorama shows the
Ansatsuken user performing a jumping side kick as he breaks through one of the temple guardian
statues. The floor tiles at the base are engineered to allow connection to the other dioramas in
this line.
Background
Ken Masters (ケン・マスターズ) is one of the main protagonists of the Street Fighter series.
Ken is also stated to be the second most popular character in the series, coming second to his
best friend Ryu. Like Ryu, Ken’s goal is to test his power against many different fighters and
strive to become stronger but holds more restraint due to not wanting to jeopardize his family
life.
In the Street Fighter Alpha series, he had longer hair that he tied back with a red ribbon into a
ponytail. The official explanation for the loss of the ribbon is that he gave it to Ryu to wear
during the events of Street Fighter Alpha 2
